40 người đẹp được chọn so tài ở Hoa hậu Biển cuộc thi Hoa hậu Thế giới 2010 dù đã thay trang phục bikini nhưng vì cơn mưa kéo dài nên ban tổ chức đã quyết định hoãn phần thi phụ này.



Trong khi chờ, một số người đẹp đã hát những ca khúc bằng tiếng Anh liên quan đến mưa. Trong khi người này thì thích tạo dáng để chụp ảnh thì người kia lại nhâm nhi với chén trà xanh và các món cocktail trái cây. Hoa hậu Hà Lan cho biết: "Thật tiếc khi thời tiết không thuận lợi cho việc thi trong trang phục áo tắm". Đại diện Moldova thêm vào: "Đây không phải là thời tiết để đi đến bãi biển nhưng khi bạn ở một cuộc thi như Hoa hậu Thế giới thì phải luôn chuẩn bị sẵn sàng cho dù điều gì xảy ra. Không thi thì cùng nhau ngồi ngêu ngao, cũng là những khoảnh khắc thú vị đấy chứ?".













Kiều Khanh được các em nhỏ che ô vì trời mưa. Kiều Khanh chăm chú lắng nghe phát biểu của đại diện Tổ chức HHTG Kiều Khanh vui vẻ bên các em nhỏ Trung Quốc.

Hoa hậu Venezuela cho biết: "Chứng kiến những khó khăn mà người dân đảo Hải Nam phải đương đầu sau cơn bão đã cho tôi những cảm giác đặc biệt. Tôi bị choáng ngợp bởi những gì nghe và thấy nhưng hạnh phúc khi biết rằng chúng tôi có thể tạo ra những điều khác biệt cho nơi đây"
